AIC Congress in Newcastle
July 2013

We went to the quadriennal congress of the Association Internationale de la Couleur organised from 8 to 12 July in Newcastle (United Kingdom). An occasion to present the project to a group of experts of the colour and to structure an international network in order to build a project that includes different voices and influences.

We met different members of associations and national groupes devoted to the colour in his various aspects. Scientists, architects, sociologists, artists and lightning engineers were gathered around conferences, posters presentations, and other exhibitions of colour’s professionals.

Many thanks to the 80 Kissbankers without who this adventure would not have been possible.

November 2013

On the 30th of November 2013, we held a “Hold-up” (artistic session, lead by Make Sense association, composed of interested people in a theme) in partnership with Make Sense and the support of the Network of European Business Schools. Thus, eight students spent an afternoon working on the project, proposing innovative answers to our challenges

Exchanges with students were deeply refreshing : they really easily adapted to the project and found it especially thrilling. Ideas that came up revealed both good sense and creativity. The opportunity to explore the method developed by Make Sense was also very enriching, regarding a project that gets built in a collective way, trying out original styles of governance.

Ôkhra Autumn Education
October 2013

The Ôkhra Autumn Education took place from the 16th to the 18th of October in Roussillon (France), in the wonderful site of the ochre quarries, in partnership with the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). Ten different courses allowed about twenty people to explore colours under their luminous, aesthetic, artistical, physical, chemical and anthropological aspects. An entire program whose goal was to convey the scientific basics of colours to an heterogeneous audience. Friendly break times also enabled us to exchange with the teachers and among “students”.Thanks again to the whole team of Ôkhra for having made it easier for me to attend this education !
